History

Dfined Hosting is the merging of two up and coming companies. The first Wnerd Web Hosting, and the second Dfined.

Wnerd Web Hosting was a small project of Johnny Ramos, Mike Dodge, and Gilbert Sanchez. The initial investment was by Johnny Ramos (Thank you Johnny!) and from there the company began to grow. After a few initial small customers we began to gain in the small business market and this has led to an expansion in the company.

Dfined, another project that Johnny Ramos was involved in, also began with a few small investments by very talented individuals, and quickly grew to be a dominant force in the bay area party scene. With the huge success of this business came the ever growing list of customers. As these customers came, we began to notice a trend of publishing all the media produced by Dfined.

With Dfined growing, and Wnerd becoming more stable, the next step was to combine the two. And now we have Dfined Hosting, the next stage in hosting.

Who is Dfined Hosting?

Dfined Hosting is lead by Johnny Ramos and Gilbert Sanchez.

Johnny Ramos – Server Tech and Entrepreneur
Being the entrepreneur and initial investor in both these companies, Johnny Ramos has had a key role in developing the system and setting the backbone of Dfined Hosting. Setting up the servers to work at optimum speeds, he is in charge of all back-end systems.

Gilbert Sanchez – Graphic and Web Design
After a few small projects, Gilbert Sanchez met Johnny and began to work on various projects. Leading the web design aspect of the sites, he has guaranteed that projects meet the highest web standards. Having slight obsessive compulsive mannerisms, he is in charge of search engine optimizing of websites designed and hosted by Dfined Hosting.
